Soil Name Table (NAME)

The Soil Name Table contains information that applies to the entire soil. A Soil Names Table browser is available to selectively view soil names information for all provinces. Layer specific information is coded in the LAYER table.

Relationships

• There is one NAME table per province.
• A record in this file is unique with respect to SOILTYPE.
• This file is linked to the LAYER table by SOILTYPE.
• The link to the LAYER table can be altered using the LU_FLAG field.
